In the direction of the ports of Great Odesa, wagons with grain increased


The number of wagons with grain heading to the ports of Great Odesa increased by almost 700 units in a week.

Such data was made public by the deputy director of the department of transportation technology and commercial work of JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia” Valerii Tkachev.

As of July 16, the number of grain wagons moving towards the ports reaches 3,907 units. In just one week, the indicator increased by 685 wagons.

The average daily volume of grain unloading in the ports also increased by 21 wagons. Currently, this indicator is 737 units per day.

The accumulation of wagons with grain in the direction of the port of Izmail decreased by 20 units. Currently, 400 wagons are going there. At the same time, the average daily discharge rate is 40 units. During the week, the volume increased by eight wagons per day.

As previously reported by USM, Ukrzaliznytsia will not provide a 30% discount on transportation to the Danube ports.
