“Kernel” acquired a sunflower oil transshipment terminal in the Port of Pivdennyi

In December 2022, Kernel Agroholding purchased a sunflower oil transshipment terminal in the Pivdennyi port for $19.8 million.
“In December 2022, Kernel successfully completed the acquisition of a 100% stake in the edible oil transshipment terminal located in the Port of Pivdenny,” Latifundist quoted the company’s quarterly report as saying.
The terminal has the capacity to store 49.4 thousand tons of sunflower oil, the estimated cost of the enterprise was $19.8 million.
It is noted that the company almost does not use alternative ways of grain export by road or rail transport.
