Kernel invested over $30 million in its own fleet

Kernel Agroholding has already invested over 30 million USD in its own fleet.
The company decided to create its own fleet during the blockade of ports, said Yuriy Kizlevych, Head of the Kernel Transshipment and Fleet Department.
Kernel’s investments in the fleet have already exceeded 30 million USD and met the expectations of the agroholding, demonstrating economic efficiency.
Currently, the company owns:
• a universal tanker of 13.5 thousand tons, which operates in various operating models: from transportation with shipment in the Danube ports of Reni and Izmail to work in deep-water ports in the Chornomorsk-Constanta shuttle mode, or work by destination.
• a Supramax-class bulk carrier Rotterdam Pearl V (58 thousand tons), which provides 10% of the company’s export needs and allows you to forecast the logistics chain from the field to the client with maximum accuracy.
Kernel serves its own cargo, but is also considering the possibility of attracting external cargo for the fleet. A similar strategy is used in terminal operations – transshipment is available for both its own and third-party cargo. Under favorable market conditions, Kernel will invest in expanding its fleet, ensuring not only its own needs, but also increasing the stability of Ukrainian exports.
We will remind you that Kernel recently won its first court case against minority shareholders.
Thus, on November 27, the District Court of Luxembourg issued a ruling, according to which the minority shareholders’ claims were recognized as inadmissible and, as a result, dismissed.
Later, the spokesman for the Polish Financial Supervision Authority, Jacek Barszczewski, stated that the court case that Kernel agroholding won against minority shareholders had no direct impact on the delisting procedure from the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
