Minister of Economy of Ukraine resigns
The First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Economy of Ukraine, Oleksiy Lyubchenko, wrote a letter of resignation.
He submitted an application to the office of the Verkhovna Rada (Parliament of Ukraine), as reported on Telegram by the representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Rada, Taras Melnichuk.
“The First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Economy of Ukraine, Oleksiy Lyubchenko, submitted an application to the Verkhovna Rada office with a request to accept the resignation from his post,” he wrote.
Lyubchenko worked in this position since May 2021, before that he headed the State Revenue Service.
According to media reports, Yulia Svidorenko, who now works as the Deputy Head of the President’s Office, may be appointed to replace Lyubchenko.
