Odesa port recorded a significant increase in tax deductions
The seaport managed to maintain its pre-war status as one of the largest taxpayers in the region and industry.
SE “Odesa Sea Trade Port” (OMTP) increased tax deductions by 38% in 2023. This was stated by the director of the enterprise, Oleksiy Myaskovskyi, in an interview with “Ukrainian News”
In total, the port paid over UAH 230 million in taxes and fees last year. And since the beginning of the full-scale war, the stevedore has paid the state about half a billion hryvnias.
According to Myaskovskyi, despite the war, OMTP kept the tax burden almost at the pre-war level. During this time, the company did not have any tax debts, and at the beginning of the full-scale invasion, taxes were paid early.
As USM wrote, a delegation from the Weimar Triangle visited Odesa Sea Trade Port the day before.
