Over the past week, 395.6 thousand tons of grain were exported through the sea ports of Odesa, which is 78% more shipments through this channel than a week ago.

During the 44th week of operation of the “grain corridor”, 7 ships with 395.6 thousand tons of agricultural products left the ports of Great Odesa. The ships are currently waiting for inspection by the SCC in the Bosphorus, reported in the weekly report of UCAB.

In general, from May 29 to June 4, within the framework of the Grain Agreement, Ukraine exported 78% more grain than a week ago.

“Although the indicators of shipments through the “grain corridor” are increasing, they still remain very low. The Russian side is constantly changing the principles of selecting vessels that undergo inspection at the entrance to Odesa ports, artificially delaying its work,” the report noted.

During the 44th week of operation of the Grain Initiative, the largest exports were corn (60% of shipments), wheat (25%) and sunflower cake (15%). Ukrainian agricultural products went to China and Spain.

In total, since the beginning of the “grain corridor” operation, Ukraine has exported 31 million tons of grain through this channel.
