The aggressor country threw marines and unique equipment from the Arctic into the war against Ukraine. This was announced by the spokesman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Dmytro Pletenchuk, during the telethon.

“We were surprised by the presence of unique equipment here, which is intended for the Arctic and which was successfully burned in the southern Ukrainian steppes. This is where they really managed to surprise us, because it is a unique technique, expensive, and using it in this way is blasphemy,” Pletenchuk emphasized.

Also, together with the destroyed equipment, the combat capabilities of the Russian marines are significantly reduced, and Russian ships do not go to sea due to fears of Ukrainian drones.

It will be recalled that in August it also became known that the Russians can no longer mine the Black Sea. However, mine danger still remains relevant. In particular, stray mines, carried by storms to the coast, pose a threat.
