Protection of territorial waters: Lithuania handed over equipment for the Navy

Lithuania handed over sets of radar equipment for the needs of the Ukrainian Navy.

The Lithuanian Naval Forces handed over to the Ukrainian Navy sets of radar equipment that helps to monitor the sea. The aid was provided at the request of Ukraine, the Ministry of National Defense of Lithuania reports.

“This support will strengthen Ukraine’s ability to monitor the sea and better understand the situation. This is important both for the protection of its territorial waters and for ensuring the safety of its own citizens,” commented Lithuanian Defense Minister Arvydas Anusauskas.
