Russia may transfer submarine technology to North Korea

Moscow may transfer technology to North Korea to create missiles and submarines in exchange for the participation of the North Korean military in the war against Ukraine.

This was stated by the commander of the US Pacific Fleet, Admiral Samuel Paparo, during the International Security Forum in Halifax, “Ukrinform” writes.

At the same time, the admiral suggested that the Kremlin may transfer sensitive technologies to China as gratitude for its support for the war in Ukraine. The military official expressed concerns that the cooperation of dictators could potentially threaten US dominance under water.

Paparo stressed that such a situation exacerbates global security challenges and creates a “dangerous atmosphere”.

Recently, USM wrote that a Russian ship anchored near a ship that could damage cables in the Baltic Sea.
