The Russian ship “Siyanie Severa”, which is transporting military equipment from Syria, ran aground near Gibraltar.

The ship is accompanied by a large landing ship “Alexander Shabalin”, which can also independently transport cargo and equipment.

As previously reported by USM, in December 2024, the Russian ship Ursa Major, which was actively used to transport military cargo, sank in the Mediterranean Sea.

In early February 2025, the Russian reconnaissance ship “Kildin” caught fire off the coast of Syria.
