Russians simulate the repair of the Rostov-on-Don submarine

The Russian submarine “Rostov-on-Don” was critically damaged as a result of a missile strike in August 2024.

In occupied Sevastopol, the Russians simulate the repair of the Rostov-on-Don submarine, which was hit by the Defense Forces of Ukraine. “Crimean Wind” writes about it.

Despite the fact that the occupiers are trying to create the appearance of activity, no real repair work is being carried out on the Rostov-on-Don submarine.

“In fact, the submarine should be decommissioned, but no one wants to make such a decision,” the post reads.

It will be recalled that the Russian submarine was damaged on September 13, 2023, during a missile attack, when it was in the dry dock of the Sevastopol Naval Plant. After the hole was closed, the submarine was towed to the 13th ship repair plant of the Black Sea Fleet in June 2024, where it was hidden under camouflage nets.

Subsequently, the Ukrainian Armed Forces again attacked the invaders’ watercraft on August 2. The submarine sank in the water area of the plant, after which it was raised from the bottom.

As USM wrote, earlier in British intelligence it was stated that it is unprofitable for the Russians to restore the Rostov-on-Don submarine.
