Russia’s attacks on Ukrainian ports are attacks on the world’s food security, — Neizhpapa

The Commander of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Vice Admiral Oleksiy Neizhpapa, commented on the Russian shelling of the Odesa port, which took place on March 11.
According to Neizhpapa, such strikes by the Russian Federation indicate a desire to deliberately create threats to the global market, “trying to destabilize supplies and disrupt international trade.”
“The strike on the port in Odesa, which resulted in the deaths of peaceful sailors, is yet another proof of targeted aggression against the international maritime community,” the Vice Admiral noted.
He also added that the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to perform tasks to protect our ports, escort vessels, and secure the sea corridor. According to Neizhpapa, joint efforts with international partners remain the key to ensuring the safety of shipping in the Black Sea.
As a reminder, on the evening of Tuesday, March 11, the Russian military launched a missile strike on the Odesa seaport.
According to preliminary information, four crew members of the “MJ Pinar” vessel were killed, another sailor was injured. An employee of the watch company who was on board was also injured.
