Since the beginning of May, Ukraine has exported more than 1 million tons of grain
Only in the first 7 days of May, Ukrainian farmers exported 1.047 million tons of grain and leguminous crops.
According to the State Customs Service, as of May 8, since the beginning of 2023/24, Ukraine exported 42.406 million tons of grain. Of these, 1.047 million tons were shipped in May, the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy reported, “APK-Inform”writes .
At the same time, as of May 8, 2023, the total figure for shipments was 42.647 million tons, of which only 761 thousand tons were shipped in May 2023.
In general, since the beginning of the 2023/24 FY, Ukrainian exports amounted to:
• corn – 23.522 million tons (25.222 million tons);
• wheat – 16.173 million tons (in 2022/23 MR – 14.616 million tons);
• barley – 2.23 million tons (2.482 million tons);
• rye – 1.3 thousand tons (17.9 thousand tons).
The total export of flour since the beginning of the season is estimated at 87.8 thousand tons (in 2022/23 MR – 130.8 thousand tons).
