Australia and Argentina enter the grain market. The very fact of harvesting in these countries already affects the cost of grain for other exporters, including Ukraine.

Ukrainian enterprises in November increased the export of scrap metal 78.5 times compared to the corresponding month of 2020 – to 44 thousand tons.

Grain exports from the beginning of the 2021-22 marketing year amounted to 28.18 million tons, which is 23% ahead of the last season’s schedule (22.895 million tons).

Prices for Ukrainian wheat continue to decline. A new factor was the information about the quota for the export of these grains to the Russian Federation.

In November, the EVT terminal in Mykolaiv exported 596 thousand tons of cargo.

Ukraine entered the TOP-5 world exporters of barley in the 2020 calendar year, despite the fact that it was difficult for the agricultural sector. This year Ukraine will definitely set its new record.

For 11 months of this year, Ukrainian ports handled 136.9 million tons of cargo, which is 8.81 million tons (or 6%) less than in the same period last year.

The EVT Grain Terminal, in cooperation with the UN World Food Program, has sent two shipments of wheat to improve the food situation in Ethiopia.

The General Directorate for the Supply of Raw Materials of Egypt has purchased 600 thousand tons of wheat from Ukraine, Romania and Russia.

Exports of Ukrainian grains from the beginning of 2021/22 MY amounted to 24.19 million tons.
