Tender for dredging of the Danube canal was canceled

Tender for dredging of the Danube canal was canceled

The tender for 78 million UAH was canceled due to the lack of offers.

This is stated on the public procurement website Prozorro.

Recall that the USPA planned to dredge the Danube-Black Sea canal in the Izmail district, on the Black Sea bar section at the mouth of the Bystre, for almost 78 million UAH.

The auction was supposed to be held on April 10, but the bidding did not take place – no applications were submitted.

The procurement provided for the dredging of a canal 3.374 km long with the transportation of the removed soil to a special landfill. The total volume of dredging is up to 284.4 thousand cubic meters.

The contractor was also supposed to independently pay for the services of the Danube Hydrometeorological Observatory to calculate the natural siltation of the canal.

It should be noted that it is currently unknown whether a second tender for dredging will be announced.

USM previously reported that the USPA will dredge the Danube-Black Sea canal for almost UAH 78 million.
