Tens of thousands of cargoes for russian federation and Belarus are blocked in the port of Rotterdam
Due to Western sanctions, tens of thousands of transit cargoes for russia and Belarus are blocked in the port of Rotterdam.
More than 43 thousand cargoes for Belarus and russia are blocked in the port of Rotterdam. This was announced by the ambassador of russian federation in the Netherlands, Alexander Shulgin.
The situation with the transportation of goods between russian federation and the Netherlands is significantly complicated, because direct air traffic has been suspended, the entry of trucks with russian license plates into the territory of the EU is prohibited, and russian ships are not allowed to enter European ports due to sanctions.
Shulgin noted that the Embassy of russian federation in the Netherlands allegedly “organized work to facilitate the delivery of blocked cargo to the final addressee.”
It will be recalled that in April 2022, the package of European sanctions against russia affected the field of road transport. In particular, the EU stopped allowing trucks registered in russia and Belarus to enter its territory
