The Russian bulk carrier Panormitis was never able to unload the stolen Ukrainian grain at any port

The thief vessel returned to the port of Kavkaz after unsuccessful attempts to sell grain to Israel and Turkey.

This was reported by Kateryna Yaresko, a journalist for the SeaKrime project of the Peacemaker Center.

The bulk carrier “Panormitis” (IMO: 9445021) returned grain stolen from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine to the port of Kavkaz. The grain was loaded onto the ship back in April, but it was never able to be sold to Israel and Turkey.

The ship was last seen in the Bosphorus on July 3. The draft shows that the bulk carrier is in ballast.

As a reminder, the “Panormitis” was heading to Haifa with a cargo of 6,201.56 tons of wheat and 19,043.73 tons of barley. Subsequently, the Israeli importing company refused to unload the grain stolen by Russia in Ukraine in Haifa due to the risk of international sanctions.

On May 13, the vessel arrived in Turkey, but they refused to accept the bulk carrier there either.
