The Shipping Administration will cooperate with the State Property Fund

The State Property Fund of Ukraine and the Shipping Administration signed a Memorandum on Information Interaction.

According to the message of the head of the Shipping Administration Yevgenii Ignatenko, within the framework of the Memorandum, there will be an exchange of information on activity plans, projects and programs, as well as the holding of joint events.

“State Property Fund deals with privatization, lease, use and alienation of state property, management of state-owned objects, including privatization of ports. Funds from privatization go to the state budget, and those received from the sale of sanctioned property go to the Fund for the Liquidation of the Consequences of Armed Aggression,” Ignatenko noted.

During the meeting, the parties agreed on three key areas of work:

• update of data on state vessels;

• formation of an interdepartmental group of departmental experts;

• development of tools that would contribute to increasing revenues from rental space.
