Transshipment of wagons with grain in sea ports approaches 1,200 units per day
During the week, the rate of daily unloading of wagons with grain in the ports of Great Odesa ranges from 1,000 to 1,300 wagons per day.
The average daily rate has increased by 143 units and is 1,187 cars per day, writes Rail.insider with reference to Valeriy Tkachev, deputy director of the commercial work department of Ukrzaliznytsia JSC.
The number of wagons with grain moving to the ports of Great Odesa also increased. Currently, 7,520 units are heading there, compared to 7,398 a week ago.
At the same time, the line of wagons with grain in the direction of the port of Izmail shortened. The queue is 529 units, which is 113 cars less than a week ago. The average daily rate of unloading wagons with grain at the port reaches 101 units per day. Over the last week, the indicator has improved by 31 cars per day.
