Ukraine exported more than 2 million tons of grain since the beginning of July


Since the beginning of the current marketing year, Ukraine has exported 2.16 million tons of grain. For comparison, during the same period last year, it was possible to export only 1.61 million tons of grain.

Since the beginning of 2023-2024 MR, the export of grain amounted to 2.16 million tons, writes Elevatorist.  Elevatorist. As of July 31 last year, this figure was 1.61 million tons.

Thus, according to the data of the customs service, the export of basic grains increased somewhat. Since the beginning of the season, 1.112 million tons of corn have been sent for sale (by 0.9% more than as of the end of July 2022). 758,000 tons of wheat were exported (2.1 times more than last year). 285,000 tons of barley were shipped, twice as much as last year.

In addition, Ukraine exported 9.7 thousand tons of flour against 3.9 thousand tons a year earlier. In particular, 9.4 thousand tons of wheat flour were sold against 3.2 thousand tons.

Such indicators were achieved despite Russia’s disruption of the grain agreement. Currently, agricultural products are exported through western Ukrainian borders and ports on the Danube.
