Ukraine has no obligations to russian federation regarding the “grain agreement”

Ukraine signed the Grain Agreement only with Turkey and the UN. According to the agreements, the “Grain Initiative” is automatically extended for 120 days, if neither party makes any claims regarding the violation of the terms of the contract. Ivan Chaikivskyi, a member of the Committee on Agrarian and Land Policy, stated this on the air of “Telemarathon”.
Blackmail by a terrorist country has no basis. However, Ukraine is ready to insure itself the ships that enter the ports of Odesa. In particular, about 20 billion hryvnias were allocated to the state budget for “emergency cases”.
“What the Russian Federation is declaring today in no way affects the agreement signed between Ukraine, Turkey and the UN. Today, we have absolutely no legal relations with the Russian side,” Tchaikovsky said.
