Ukrainian ports show record grain exports


From February 11th to 14th inclusive shipments of grain from sea terminals in Ukraine amounted to 867 thousand tons.

Despite the Russian Federation’s exercises in the Black Sea, the rate of exports corresponds to the record grain harvest of 2021 and significantly exceeds last year’s shipments, notes Ukragroconsult.

For three days the ports have shipped 170 thousand tons of wheat, 54 thousand tons of barley and 643 thousand tons of corn.

From February 1st to February 14th, the following were shipped:

  • wheat – 548,000 tons;
  • barley – 98 thousand tons;
  • corn – 2247 tons.

According to market operators, shipments are made in normal mode, no downtime or delays in shipments are not registered.
