Let’s float and “tochka”: the Russian ship was bunkered with used oil from fast food

The Russian company “Gazprom Neft” bunkered the first ship with “environmental” fuel from used cooking oil.

In Russia, the first ship was refueled with fuel from waste oil. “Raw material” for the experiments was provided by the famous fast food chain “Vkusno i tochka”(translated as Delicious, full stop), reports rosZMI.

Fuel was loaded onto the ship in the port of St. Petersburg. As reported, the product includes fuel from Gazprom Neft and waste oil.

The Russian energy company believes that such fuel “corresponds to the technical regulations and can be used on most marine and inland vessels.”

At the same time, “Vkusno i Tochka” announced that it will send at least 5,500 tons of oil for processing for marine fuel every year.
