The port of Chornomorsk was fined 2 million UAH
The fine was imposed by the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU) for abuse of a dominant position in the market.
The Chornomorsk Port was fined for its monopoly position in the market. This is stated in the relevant decision of the AMCU.
“The state enterprise “Sea Trade Port “Chornomorsk” was fined UAH 2 million for violating the legislation on the protection of economic competition, stipulated by Clause 1 of Part Two of Article 13 and Clause 2 of Article 50 of the Law of Ukraine “On Protection of Economic Competition”, in the form of abuse of a monopoly (dominant) position in the market,” the report says.
Also, recently, a company was exposed in the port of Chornomorsk that illegally exported grain.
