The Ministry of Development announced the dismissal of the heads of the USPA and UDS

The Ministry for Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine has begun personnel restructuring in key state-owned companies in the maritime industry.

This was reported by the press service of the department.

The first decisions were the dismissal of the management of the Ukrainian Danube Shipping Company (UDS) and preparation for the reform of the Sea Ports Administration of Ukraine (USPA).

At the same time, the department is initiating the creation of a supervisory board at the USPA to create transparency in corporate governance.

The resignation of the head of PrJSC “UDS” was supported by the newly created supervisory board of the enterprise. At the same time, the department announced a transparent competition for the position of a new head.

“This decision is part of a large-scale management reform. We strive to form strong, professional and transparent teams that work in the interests of the state,” emphasized Deputy Minister Andriy Kashuba.

The Ministry of Development noted that similar changes will also take place in the railway, aviation and transport sectors in the future.

Previously, the USPA identified a supplier of a tugboat for work on the Danube.
