Russian attack on Bunge plant in Dnipro was deliberate, says Ukrainian Foreign Ministry

The Russian strike on the sunflower oil plant in Dnipro, owned by the well-known American company Bunge, was deliberate.
This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sybiha.
“A targeted Russian strike seriously damaged the civilian sunflower oil plant in Dnipro, owned by the well-known American company Bunge. This attack was not a mistake — it was deliberate. The Russians repeatedly tried to strike this facility,” he wrote.
Sybiga emphasized that Russia has systematically attacked American businesses in Ukraine. Last year, Russian strikes damaged Boeing’s offices in Kyiv, a major American electronics manufacturer in Transcarpathia, and other facilities. During the full-scale war, approximately half of the members of the US Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine suffered damage or destruction of their facilities to varying degrees.
The Ukrainian Foreign Minister recalled that Russian attacks on American business and American interests in Ukraine demonstrate Vladimir Putin’s complete disregard for peace efforts under the leadership of US President Donald Trump.
Recall that on January 5, the Russians attacked the Dnipro oil extraction plant, owned by the American company Bunge. As a result of the drone attack, 300 tons of oil spilled onto the roads of the Dnipro.
Earlier, USM reported that an oil leak was recorded at the port of Pivdennyi as a result of Russian attacks.
