Ukraine’s agricultural exports increased in value by 9.3% at the beginning of 2026

In January-February 2026, Ukraine exported 9.95 million tons of agricultural products worth $4 billion.

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine.

Compared to the same period last year, physical volumes remained almost unchanged, while foreign exchange earnings increased by 9.3%.

The ministry emphasized that the key trading partners of Ukraine remain the countries of the European Union – they accounted for about 50% of foreign exchange earnings from agricultural exports.

In January-February of this year, the largest exported goods were corn, sunflower oil, wheat, soybeans, and meat.

Deputy Minister of Economy Taras Vysotsky noted that as of today, the share of processed products is growing.

“In particular, the export of rapeseed oil has increased significantly. At the same time, an important task remains the diversification of sales markets and expansion of export geography,” Taras Vysotsky emphasized.

As previously reported by USM, grain exports through ports remain dominant, but demand for oil has weakened.
