Egyptian ports continue to accept Ukrainian grain stolen by Russia

Another Russian ship loaded over 6,000 tons of wheat in occupied Mariupol and is likely headed for Alexandria.

This was reported by Kateryna Yaresko, a journalist for the SeaKrime project of the Peacemaker Center.

The ship Alfa 1 (IMO:9045601) loaded 6,443.755 tons of wheat in occupied Mariupol from April 25 to 28.

After that, the ship entered Temryuk, where a second set of false documents was made.

“Now the ship shows the port of destination as Algeria, but will probably go to Alexandria. Irkutsk (IMO:9419084) behaved in the same way, changing the port of destination from Algeria to Alexandria and vice versa. Currently, Irkutsk with 8,422.72 tons of wheat from occupied Mariupol is at the anchorage in Alexandria.

The exporter of both vessels is Mostagro (TIN 9701208412),” said Kateryna Yaresko.

Recall that in early April, the President of Egypt assured that the country would accept more grain from the occupied Ukrainian territories.

On Tuesday, May 5, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine wrote that Egypt allowed the unloading of a vessel with stolen Ukrainian grain. We are talking about the Asomatos, which was unloaded in Abu-Kira. This is the fourth case of laundering Russian grain in Egyptian ports since April.
