The Navy conducted training on the new American boats

The Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine conducted training of the ship and boat crew in the waters of the Black Sea and on the Dnipro.

During the training, the crews of the Navy of the Ukrainian Armed Forces performed elements of tactical maneuvering, evading the air enemy and floating mines. In particular, they conducted a mock battle with an enemy boat with the execution of artillery group fire as part of a platoon, practiced rescuing a person who fell overboard and towing a damaged boat, ArmiyaInform writes.

“On the boats, they practiced unberthing, its mooring, maneuvering, staying at sea, changing the course, speed of movement, rescuing a person, etc. Initially, these elements worked on each boat separately, and later – as part of a tactical group. So far, the goals of the training have been achieved and the personnel is ready to perform the assigned tasks,” the flotilla command emphasized.

Taras Chmut, director of the “Return Alive” foundation, wrote on Twitter that the new American boats of the Navy are conducting training in the waters of the Black Sea and the Dnipro.

Earlier, USM reported that the US should hand over 23 military boats to Ukraine as part of a security assistance package worth $450 million.
