Dead dolphins are found on the coast in the Zaporizhzhia region
Bodies of dead dolphins are found on the coast of the Sea of Azov in the Russian-occupied territories of the Zaporizhzhia region.
The bodies of dolphins are found on the shores of Kyrylivka in the Zaporizhzhia region, reports the Ministry of Environment.
According to unconfirmed information, the deaths of mammals were recorded on the territory of the Kosa Fedotov landscape reserve after a southwest storm. This suggests that they perished in the area south of Byryuchy Island.
According to local residents, the bodies of the dolphins have no signs of damage from nets and screws. So the death could be influenced by constant explosions, as well as noise and chemical pollution.
After all, on the coast of the landscape reserve “Kosa Fedotova” (Fedotov Spit) there are no less than three ranges, where the Russians conduct training of mortar units. The Russian Air Force constantly maneuvers on the coast of the Sea of Azov and launches missiles.
Currently, due to the occupation of populated areas, Ukraine cannot fully assess the scale of the tragedy on the coast of the Sea of Azov. The Ministry asks to report all facts of damage to the environment through the EcoThreat application.
