Grain exports from Ukraine amounted to 28 million tons

Grain exports from the beginning of the 2021-22 marketing year amounted to 28.18 million tons, which is 23% ahead of the last season’s schedule (22.895 million tons).

According to the State Customs Service, exports of major grains increased:

• wheat – by 24.1%, to 15.067 million tons;
• corn – by 16.2%, to 7.763 million tons;
• barley – by 36%, to 5.039 million tons.

Flour was exported 55.5 thousand tons against 71.2 thousand tons a year earlier.

Since the beginning of December, 2.084 million tons of grain have been exported, including 1.646 million tons of corn, 339 thousand tons of wheat, 87 thousand tons of barley.
