Grain from Ukraine: Ukraine will help two more African countries with grain
Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba visited Malawi and Zambia, and also announced that these countries will receive humanitarian aid as part of the Grain from Ukraine program.
In Zambia, Kuleba spoke with President Hakainde Hichilema, to whom he promised to send ships with grain to overcome the consequences of this year’s devastating drought.
Kuleba was also met by President Lazarus Chakwera in Malawi. As the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry noted in X, on the instructions of President Zelensky, he conveyed that “Ukraine has decided to help Malawi within the framework of the Grain from Ukraine program.
“We also discussed the potential for mutually beneficial cooperation in agriculture, pharmacy, digitization and other areas,” Kuleba noted.
Previously, USM reported that Ukraine delivered more than 500 tons of oil to Mauritania as part of Grain from Ukraine.
