Grain unloading in the ports of Great Odesa continues to decline


The rate of unloading of grain wagons in the ports of Great Odesa continues to decline, while the flow of wagons in the direction of these ports is increasing.

The average daily rate of unloading of grain wagons in the ports of Great Odesa over the past week has decreased by 43 wagons per day (-4.68%). This is reported by APK-Inform with reference to the representative of UZ Valerii Tkachev.

As of February 17, this figure is 1,283 units per day. Despite the reduction in unloading, the number of grain wagons heading to the ports of Great Odesa has increased significantly – by 176 units (or 3.85%), to 4,743 wagons.

The average daily load on the network in the direction of these ports over the week has increased by 49 units (by 4.19%) and is 1,219 wagons per day.

The situation in the port of Izmail also shows a decline: the average daily rate of grain unloading decreased by 4 wagons (-9.09%) and now amounts to 40 units per day. The accumulation of wagons with grain in the direction of this port decreased even more significantly – by 73.41%, from 243 to 100 wagons.
