Moldova plans to reduce tariffs for the transportation of Ukrainian grain
Ukraine and Moldova are working on reducing tariffs for transporting Ukrainian agricultural products by rail across the border.
Ukraine and Moldova are developing plans to reduce railway tariffs for the transportation of Ukrainian agricultural products. In addition to the economic benefit for Ukraine, this will allow the Moldovan railway to significantly increase the volume of transit transportation. This was reported by the Ministry of Agricultural Policy of Ukraine.
Such a decision will also make it possible to relieve the load on the Romanian logistics infrastructure. “In the coming weeks, Ukrainian and Moldovan railways should inform about the agreements reached, which should reduce the tariffs for railway transportation through the territory of the Republic of Moldova in the direction of the ports of Reni, Giurgiulesti and Galatsi,” the message says.
