New Supervisory Board approved at Odesa Port Plant

Today a new composition of the Supervisory Board of the enterprise arrived at the Odesa Port Plant (OPP).

The candidates were approved at a remote meeting of shareholders of the OPP, which took place on October 1st.

The Supervisory Board consists of five people – three independent members Andrey Kolomiychenko, Yuriy Dudenkov and Anatoly Filonov, as well as two representatives of the State Property Fund of Ukraine – Denis Kudin and Olexandr Vizhunov.

During the first meeting of the new composition of the Supervisory Board, the new Chairman, Yuriy Dudenkov, and his Deputy, Denis Kudin, were approved by a majority of votes. On the same day, the members of the Supervisory Board of the OPP held a general meeting with the Board of the enterprise, and then met with the Heads of structural divisions and the trade union committee of the plant.

“All members of the Supervisory Board have experience in the chemical industry. We will be directly involved in the life of the plant. Now, in order to retain the enterprise and the team, a number of measures are already being taken, in particular, the revision of the tariff for the reception, storage and shipment of ammonia, as well as the refund of tax on overpaid profits,” said Yuriy Dudenkov, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the OPP.

Earlier, USM reported that the President’s office is evaluating the effectiveness of the management of the State Property Fund of the Odesa Port Plant.

Recently, the Singapore-based company Dachex Shipping Pte. Ltd. refused to sign an agreement with Odesa Port Plant JSC for the processing of raw materials supplied by the customer. The company accused the representatives of the plant of negligence in drawing up the procedure for selecting the customer for the processing of raw materials supplied by the company, which it won.

The state, represented by the State Property Fund, owns 99.5667% of the OPP shares. For several years the plant has been on the list of enterprises that are preparing for privatization.
