SBU naval drones attacked Russian aircraft and vessels in the Kerch Strait (video)
The Security Service of Ukraine’s naval drones have trained on Russian helicopters and planes in the Kerch Bay.
On the night of December 5-6, a group of Sea Baby naval drones engaged Russian helicopters, planes, and Raptor patrol boats that were trying to intercept them, the SBU reported.
These water drones were manufactured as a result of a joint fundraising effort with UNITED24, monobank, Oleg Gorokhovsky, Sergey Sternenko, and Igor Lachen in February of this year.
The newest “Sea Baby” were equipped with large-caliber machine guns with ballistic programs for automatic targeting and auto-capture of targets.
Intercepted Russian radio transmissions indicate that there are killed and wounded on board the helicopters. The helicopters themselves have sustained significant damage and now require major repairs.
Also, SBU drones hit a barge carrying military equipment and equipment for the repair of the Crimean bridge, which the occupiers are still unsuccessfully trying to restore after previous explosions by the Ukrainian special services.
“Sea Baby” is a multi-purpose platform that can accommodate various weapons: multiple launch rocket systems, flying drones and large-caliber machine guns. The main thing is that it has once again proven its effectiveness.
“There are actually much more results of our work than we can show now, but everything has its time,” the 13th Main Directorate of the SBU Military Counterintelligence Department noted.
Recently, naval drones of the Ukrainian Navy struck Russian targets in Crimea. The enemy’s surveillance systems located on captured gas platforms were destroyed.
Earlier, USM reported that “Sea Baby” drones had worked on Russians on the Kinburn Spit.
