The number of grain wagons has increased in the direction of Ukrainian ports
The flow of wagons with grain cargoes was reoriented from the western borders to the direction of the seaports of Great Odesa.
Валерій Ткачов Valeriy Tkachev, Deputy Director of the Department of Commercial Work of UZ, spoke about the current situation with the processing of grain wagons in seaports of Ukraine as of January 29.
Thus, during the week, the rate of daily unloading of wagons with grain in the ports of Great Odesa fluctuates in the range of 1,200-1,540 wagons per day.
The average daily rate of unloading of wagons in the ports of Great Odesa is 1,284 wagons per day. Over the last week, the indicator has increased by 46 cars per day.
The availability of grain wagons moving in the direction of the ports of Great Odesa increased (increase from 7,326 to 8,192 wagons, increase in wagon availability by +866 wagons or +11.82% over the last week).
The queue of wagons with grain in the direction of the port of Izmail increased by 63 wagons or +10.75% (from 586 wagons to 649 wagons). The average daily rate of unloading wagons with grain in the port of Izmail is 103 wagons per day, over the last week the indicator increased by +3 wagons per day or +3.0%.
As previously reported by USM, since the beginning of 2024, more than 1.5 million tons of cargo were transported by rail to ports for export.
