The SBU seized the near-port assets of Medvedchuk’s wife

The Security Service of Ukraine seized Oksana Marchenko’s shares in 7 port infrastructure enterprises in Odesa.
The SBU seized assets of Oksana Marchenko worth almost UAH 740 million. We are talking about the corporate rights of 7 enterprises of port infrastructure in Odesa region, the SBU reports.
Among the arrested enterprises are Eximnaftoprodukt JSC, Syntez Oil PJSC, Syntez Transit PJSC, Ukrloadsystem LLC, Odesnaftoprodukt JSC, Black Sea Fuel Terminal PJSC and Albion Commodities LLC. Medvedchuk’s wife owned shares in these companies through a number of offshore structures.
“Seizure of the relevant property will prevent it from being re-registered as a bogus person and in the future will allow assets to be transferred to the benefit of the state,” the message says.
These companies are strategically important in the transportation of fuel and other critical cargoes across the Black Sea.
Previously, USM wrote that the SBU seized the assets of the oligarch Novinskyi. In particular, the terminal in Ochakiv.
