The State Hydrographic Service and the Shipping Register paid over UAH 160 million to the state budget

The heads of the Shipping Register of Ukraine and the State Hydrography reported for 2024.

The Shipping Register provided 4,507 services last year, said the head of the Shipping Administration Yevgenyi Ihnatenko.

These are mainly services for classification and conventional survey of vessels. Surveys of seagoing vessels, inland and mixed navigation vessels, the Danube basin, as well as small vessels are carried out on an ongoing basis.

As a result, in 2024 the Shipping Register of Ukraine replenished the state budget by UAH 31 million.

Also, the scope of management of the Shipping Administration also includes the State Enterprise “State Hydrography”. The institution continuously provides navigational and hydrographic support for navigation in inland sea waters, the territorial sea, the exclusive (maritime) economic zone and on inland waterways of Ukraine.

The operational plan of the State Hydrographic Service for 2024 was 100% implemented, thanks to which more than UAH 129 million was paid to the state budget – this amount is almost twice as much as last year’s figure.
