Ukrainian business calls on France and Great Britain to help unblock the Grain Initiative
20 associations of the Ukrainian agricultural market appealed to the governments of France and Great Britain to join the unblocking of the “grain corridor”.
In the appeal of representatives of agribusiness, it is said that the Russian Federation actually completely controls shipping in the Black Sea, resorting to piracy. Also, the terrorist country restricts ship access in the Bosphorus Strait, violating the international Montreux Convention. This was reported by the press service of the Ukrainian Agrarian Confederation, APK-Inform reports.
“We appeal to Great Britain and France with a request to join the UN, Turkey and Ukraine as parties participating in negotiations with Russia regarding the complete unblocking of logistics routes in the Black Sea,” the document states.
According to agribusiness representatives, this should restore food trade and save the world community from Russian crime.
