Ukrainian seafarers will be able to confirm the employment term automatically

The Head of the Maritime Administration Vitaly Kindrativ signed an order on the procedure for automatic confirmation of the seafarer’s employment term.

Now, if a seafarer has confirmed qualification and experience on board, his qualifications will be automatically renewed. This was announced by Vitaly Kindrativ on his Facebook page.

The hotline of the Head of the Maritime Administration will also be opened. With its help, seafarers, if necessary, will be able to notify the Head of Maritime Administration about corruption violations and organizational problems in the department.

Recall that on July 29th, the Verkhovna Rada (Parliament) adopted a bill №3944, according to which, if a seafarer has confirmed qualification and experience on board, his qualifications are automatically extended.
