UZ halts transportation to RISOIL terminal in Chornomorsk port after shelling

Temporary restrictions will be in effect until April 30 and cover all cargo destined for the RISOIL terminal.
JSC Ukrzaliznytsia has introduced a temporary ban on the transportation of all cargo to the address of LLC SP Rysoil Terminal in the port of Chornomorsk since April 27. This is reported by Elevatorist.
The relevant convention is in effect until April 30 inclusive. The restrictions apply to the Chornomorsk-Port-CPS and Chornomorsk-Port-Export stations.
The reason for introducing the convention was the consequences of a night attack by Russian drones. According to the State Environmental Inspectorate of the South-Western District, a tank with sunflower oil was destroyed as a result of the strike in the port. Inspectors recorded a spill of products in the port’s water area.
The strike fell precisely on the RISOIL tank, which directly affected the terminal’s operational activities. The Russian attack led to a spill of sunflower oil in the port area and in the water area.
