Odesa Port and Business Discuss Logistics Development with the Embassy of Brazil


A meeting of representatives of the Embassy of Brazil in Ukraine, the business community of the region and the Odesa Sea Port Administration was held at the Odesa Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

This was reported by the press service of the Odesa branch of the USPA.  

On behalf of the Odesa Port, the event was attended by Deputy Head of Administration Vladislav Lytvyn and Head of Administrative Support Service Dmytro Podoryan.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects for Ukrainian-Brazilian cooperation in the field of trade, logistics and investment. Particular attention was paid to the work of port infrastructure, container transportation, the development of international transport corridors and the strengthening of logistics ties between the two countries.

The participants also spoke about the agricultural sector and the export potential of Ukraine and Brazil. In particular, they discussed the establishment of direct contacts between Ukrainian and Brazilian companies.

“The Odessa Sea Port has always been and remains an important link in international transport routes. It is extremely important for us to maintain an open dialogue with foreign partners, expand cooperation and seek new opportunities for the development of logistics and foreign trade. Brazil is one of the promising areas of such interaction,” said Vladyslav Lytvyn.

Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their interest in continuing the dialogue, developing business contacts, organizing business missions and holding B2B meetings to implement joint projects.

Earlier, USM reported that the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority turned 13 years old.
