Ukraine and Latvia agreed to jointly develop logistics routes for the export of Ukrainian products.

During the meeting between representatives of the Ministry of Reconstruction of Ukraine and the delegation of Latvia, the parties discussed the development of logistics routes. This was reported in the press service of the department.

The parties also discussed the creation of favorable financial and economic conditions and stimulation of economic cooperation between the countries.

“We are grateful for the assistance provided to Ukraine by the Republic of Latvia since the first days of the large-scale invasion. We already have a number of joint developments regarding cooperation in the transport sector, which will not only allow to increase the export potential of the state, but also stimulate the economic development of both countries,” commented the Acting Minister of Reconstruction Vasyl Shkurakov.

For his part, Economy Minister Viktors Valainis assured that in 2024 Latvia will allocate 6 million euros to support the development of infrastructure in Ukraine. It is expected that a similar amount of support will be provided for 2025.
