MSC container ship arrived in Odesa port

The container ship MSC Levante F arrived at the port of Odesa from the Georgian port of Poti.

This is reported by Forbes with reference to MarineTraffic. According to the publication, the vessel under the flag of Panama arrived at the “Odesa Container Terminal” of the HHLA company today.

It is also worth noting that the Levante F is actually the first MSC container ship to arrive at a Ukrainian port since the beginning of the Russian Federation’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

Before that, the ship’s call to the port of Odesa was postponed three times. According to Forbes, MSC planned to enter the port of Odesa in early June, but the event was postponed due to alleged problems with customs, which denied such statements by the Association of International Freight Forwarders of Ukraine (AMEU).

Earlier, USM reported that the customs denied the allegations of the disruption of the MSC container service.
