Nibulon has approached the World Bank Group regarding a tender for a tugboat

Nibulon stated that for the money offered by the competitor, it can build almost two tugboats.

This was reported on the page of the agricultural holding Nibulon on Facebook.

Thus, on May 1, 2025, a tender was held for the construction of a tugboat for the Danube within the framework of the RELINC project. The customer is the Sea Ports Administration of Ukraine.

Only two companies participated – LLC Agricultural Enterprise Nibulon, which offered to build a tugboat for $3,499,000, and the Romanian shipyard S.C.SEVERNAV S.A with a proposal of €5,506,670.

In an open appeal, Nibulon stated that for the money indicated by the competitor for one tugboat, SSZ Nibulon can build almost two vessels.

“We, the only operating shipyard in Ukraine, submitted an offer that is half the price of a foreign competitor. At the same time, we guarantee quality, international certification and compliance with all requirements,” the appeal states.

In particular, the company emphasized that the shipyard is equipped with modern digital equipment.

We will remind you that we are talking about an ice-class tugboat that will be operated within the port of Reni.
