Ro-ro service ZIM will work in the port of Chornomorsk
From February 8th, one of the lines of the Israeli company ZIM Integrated Shipping Services will start working at the port of Chornomorsk.
In particular, ZIM has included the port of Chornomorsk in Vehicle Carrier Service 1 (VE1) between China, Korea and the Black Sea. This was announced by the CEO of ZIM Integrated Shipping Ukraine Services Andrii Kuzmenko.
The first vessel call will be made by the Pagna ferry with a gross tonnage of 47.1 thousand tons. The vessel left Shanghai on January 11 and will sail along the route Shanghai-Xiamen-Alexandria-Mersin-Novorossiysk-Chornomorsk-Amsterdam.
The vessel will arrive at the ferry complex of the port of Chornomorsk on February 9th at 20:00.
Further, as part of the monthly ro-ro service, the Nocc Oceanic ferry with a gross tonnage of 58.3 thousand tons will call at the port. The full route looks like this: Shanghai-Xiamen-Alexandria-Mersin-Novorossiysk-Chornomorsk-Singapore-Shanghai.
It should be noted that Chornomorsk is the only port in Ukraine where four ferry lines operate: Neptune Lines, Cenk, CIG and Ukrferry.
Earlier, USM publicized the problem with customs clearance of cars in the port of Chornomorsk. And the results of the publications were not long in coming. So, for example, the customs reduced the indicators for customs clearance of cars in Chornomorsk.
