The lack of data on wheat exports from the EU complicates the demand forecast

Data on grain exports from the countries of the European Union have been unavailable since the end of March due to technical problems.

The lack of information on the export of agricultural products from the EU has led to uncertainty about demand. At the same time, world prices for wheat are growing rapidly, “UkrAgroConsult”writes .

The failure to provide weekly data on grain and oil crops trade from EU countries was initially explained by “technical problems”. They continued for several weeks before the release stopped altogether. Currently, data is available only up to March 27.

Wheat futures on the Paris Stock Exchange are currently trading at their highest level in 9 months. Details on demand will help to understand whether the recent growth will continue.
