The Mykolaiv port remains the leader in oil transshipment


Transshipment of vegetable oils in the seaports of Ukraine since the beginning of the year has decreased by 21.4% – to 3.944 million tons.

The only port that increased oil shipment was Odesa. The Mykolaiv seaport remains the leader in transshipment of processed products. The port enterprises have shipped more than half of the total volume of oil transshipment.

The processing of vegetable oils from the total transshipment of cargoes amounted to 3.3%.

According to the USPA, oil transshipment in January-October looks like this:

  • Mykolaiv port – 54.1%;
  • the port of Pivdennyi – 21.5%;
  • the port of Chornomorsk – 17.8%;
  • Odesa port – 2.8%;
  • Mariupol port – 2%;
  • Izmail port – 1.7%.

As USM previously reported, the port of Izmail increased its oil and meal handling by 19% in January-October compared to the same period last year.
