The security service reported the suspicion to the official of the Russian Federation, who ensured the transfer of troops to Ukraine by ferry.
Law enforcement officers have gathered evidence against the head of the Federal Agency for Maritime and River Transport of the Russian Federation (Rosmorrichflot) Zakhary Dzioev, the SBU reported.
From the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the official facilitated the Ministry of Defense of the aggressor country in the transfer of troops to the territory of Ukraine.
Head of Rosmorrichflot Zakhary Dzioev.
It was by his order that in August 2022 ferries of the Russian company “Oboronlogistics” were involved in the organization of sea “traffic” from the Krasnodar Territory to occupied Mariupol.
Subsequently, after the explosion on the Crimean Bridge, Dzioev ordered the establishment of a ferry crossing from the territory of the Russian Federation to the Ukrainian peninsula.
In this way, the invaders transported the personnel, military equipment and ammunition of the Russian occupation groups to the southern front.
In addition, the Rashists used ferry “routes” to take looted Ukrainian grain to the aggressor country.
On the basis of the collected evidence, SBU investigators notified Dzioev of the suspicion under Part 5 of Art. 27 and Part 2 of Art. 437 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (planning, preparation, initiation and waging of an aggressive war).
Since the suspect is on the territory of Russia, complex measures are underway to bring him to justice for crimes against Ukraine. The perpetrator faces up to 15 years in prison.
Since 2015, Oboronlogistika LLC has been working in the structure of the military construction complex of the Ministry of Defense of Russia. In particular, the company transports military goods by sea. It has the status of a shipping company and is the owner of sea vessels that operate in the waters of the Black and Mediterranean Seas, as well as on the lines of the Baltic, Arctic and Far East.
Sparta I, II, III and IV are among the vessels of “Oboronlogistics”. One of these vessels could have transported drones from Iran to Russia, which the terrorist country is currently using to attack Ukraine.
